{Our Roommate}

We were pretty excited when we looked out our closet window to see that a Mama Robin had picked our closet window to be her home. We watched her vigorously and strategically build her next until one day we looked out to see a splash of color. Beautiful turquoise eggs.

This little bit of nature has brought Miss Addy such joy and excitement. To say this girl loves birds would be an understatement. She will drop everything she is doing to chase after a bird in hopes of catching it. Every morning she climbs up on a chair to check out the birdie.



This morning was especially exciting because this time when we looked out the window there was a mama bird, a daddy bird, and brand new baby birds! It was so sweet to watch their little family. I couldn't help but think about my own family and when each of our children were born. Whether you're a human, or a bird, it's pretty amazing.

We wish our window wasn't "fogged" over, but we will continue to enjoy our view the best we can.
