{He Did It}
Approximately 420 days of class
4,840 hours of straight up studying
20 family lunch dates (Six of them being "Taco Friday" lunch dates)
This was our very last family lunch date at the school. I am going to miss Addy's squeals of excitement as we we would approach the freeway exit to go see Daddy :(
113 jaw dropping exams
362 pepper jack & (insert your favorite meat here) sandwiches
45 slices of free pizza
5,408 pages of study guides printed
15 future medical student tours and interviews
42 "come home now please, your daughter is driving me crazy" calls
58 hours standing over a corpse with scalpel in hand
1 gynecological exam
340 days of carpooling with the boys
14 previously undiagnosed diseases for the Dr.'s wife (cushings syndrome, an assortment of cancers, rheumatoid arthritis, anorexia, OCD, multiple sclerosis, heart murmur, marfans, etc.)
351 high pitched squeals, giggles, and running to the back door to welcome home daddy.
One happy wife ready to have her evenings with the hubby back. One happy "student doctor" looking forward to rotations. One happy little girl anxious to have more play time with daddy. One happy little boy ready to share some evening snuggles. And one big "YOU DID IT" pat on the back. We are so proud of you Ry!
