{A Pinkalicous Day}

The theme for the day: pink, pink, pink, and more pink! The girl loves her some pink :) I guess you could say it turned out to be quite the "pinkalicious" party! Since her birthday was on Saturday Ryan was able to spend the whole day with us!
During the night the balloon fairies came to decorate her room. Unfortunately the balloon fairies were caught in the process and she demanded that we clean this up! After much coaxing we eventually convinced her that it was okay to have a mess in your room if it was for your birthday ;) We started out the day bright and early by heading to the Y to go swimming at 7:00 a.m. We had the entire pool to ourselves and she loved every minute of it. She also had surprise visitors meet us at the pool. Kyle, Kristin, and KJ! Three of her favorite people :)
After she swam to her hearts content we went to the grocery store to pick up her birthday balloons a long with some doughnuts. The birthday girl picked out a cake doughnut with sprinkles on it and could hardly wait to get home to eat it.

At 1:00 the party started! It was nothing fancy, but she was so excited. We invited her bff's over to have dessert and to open presents. She was so spoiled! She would rip off the wrapping paper, and before I could even tell her who it was from or what it was she was on to the next. A few of her presents were: puzzles, a tutu, Tangled, lot's of playdoh tools, some arts and crafts supplies, my little pony, and the Pinkalicious and Purplicious books.
Then the time came to make a wish! We made her a Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treat Cake along with some yummy chocolate dipped pretzels. Mmmmm. By the end of our pinkatastic day we were all suffering from pinkititis. Except for Addy of course . . . this girl could never have an over dose on pink ;)
We hope your wish comes true little Pinkarrific Princess. We love you!

Oh, that is so fun. Our little pink-lover is wishing for a pinkalicious birthday too! (in a couple of months.) I am excited just thinking about it. What a perfect little 3-year-old day.
How cute! She looks so pleased with how everything turned out! P.S. I love the bow/flowers in her hair they are darling!
Birthday parties are sooo fun when the kids are little! They are somewhat magical! I loved your pinkalicious day!!! Hey I made some pretzles like yours, but how did you get the chocolate to be swirled on the pretzles? Very cute!!! Fun, Fun, Fun!!!
