{Costco Run}

Ryan was raised to be a loyal and frequent shopper at Costco. Costco "runs" were and still are a Saturday must in the Larry Pettit house. It seems the Costco fanatic gene was carried on to Ryan and it has now become a Saturday tradition for us.



Addy can hardly contain herself when we tell her we are going on a Costco run. She immediately starts spouting off one of her famous lists. Bike? Bear? Sample? Slide? Treat? Mommy? Daddy? Eli?!?! Translations: She wants us all to go to Costco and do all of her favorite things :) This girl can spot a Costco from a mile away. No joke. We were in Omaha a while ago and in the far, far, far off distance hidden by a hill, there was a Costco. It would have gone completely unnoticed by Ryan and I, but not Addy. She excitedly yelled, "Costco!" I kind of did my "Yeah, uh huh. Whatever you think sweetie." But then after straining and squinting my eyes I realized she was right! We couldn't believe it.

It only seemed right to have the very first shopping cart Eli sat up in be at Costco. He was so excited to finally get out of the car seat and look around! Addy enjoyed being able to sit by him too.



He even had his first Costco sample and loved it. It was a big day for our little buddy and as always, an enjoyable Costco run for us all :)
