{Cubs Game}

We wanted to do something fun as a family before Ryan started school so we decided to go to an Iowa Cubs baseball game with some friends. On certain days of the season they only charge $1.00 for general admission so it made for a really cheap and fun family outing! They also have a few items on their menu for $1.00 so we bought a cup of popcorn. Turns out Addy LOVES popcorn and was not about to share with us.

When the Cubs mascot came out we ran down to get a picture with him. We thought for sure Addy would love him because he is a bear and he is a huge stuffed animal. Both of which she loves, or so we thought. I guess her love for giant characters has been replaced with the fear of them because she would not even look at him. We were both surprised!

At the game they also have a little splash pad area for the kids to play in so we made sure to bring Addy's swimming suit because we knew she would love this. She had a great time running in endless circles and splashing through the puddles. It was hard to pull her away from it. It was so good to spend the evening together with friends and have one last hoopla before our husbands go back to school. We will definitely have to do this again!
