Wicked

As part of celebrating Ryan's birthday we splurged and got tickets to go see the broadway musical Wicked. And it was WicKEd AMAZING!!! Of all the places for Wicked to be shown we didn't think Des Moines, Iowa would be one of them. Thanks to our friends Carrie and Troy Fowler, we got to be childless and go out on a real date...it had been a while.



This is how many people were in front of us, haha!



We were pretty much as far back as you could get, but that's what happens when you buy the 37 dollar tickets :) Thankfully the Civic Center isn't incredibly big so it wasn't too bad. The music was absolutely stunning and the cast did an amazing job. I think Ryan and I could get used to going to broadway musicals every once in a while ;)
