My family got a kick out of Eli's Valentine's this year. In fact, one family in particular decided that Eli's new nickname from here on out was, "Captain Underpants."

I got to thinking about this nickname of his and I decided, why yes. Yes he is. He is "Captain Underpants!" After many failed attempts at potty training, this boy finally decided to show those underwear who their captain was!

You all knew from our Christmas cards this year that Eli showed no interest in potty training, but what you didn't know is that by the time you all received the card he already was! Happy Day!

Like most things Eli does, I think he was just waiting until he knew he could do it perfectly without the embarrassment of messing up. In fact, it was almost a little too easy. We were all very thankful he caught on quickly and even more thankful that he kept with it.

So there you have it. We are the proud new sponsors of Captain Underpants and are loving ever last second of being diaper free around here . . . at least for a few months right? ;)
